The Wet Sparky team were called to the site because the tank was overflowing.
We extracted the pump and found it to be blocked. The blockage was cleared, and the pump reinstalled.
Because of the location of the chamber and pump we recommended upgrading the system to a dual pump station with a better pump control box. The pumps will alternate between starts and, when demand requires, it will turn on pump assist running both pumps together.
We installed a second pump, dual control panel and extra control float switches within a 40mm conduit.
A maintenance schedule was set up and the installation was certified for council inspection.
